Borderless AI Ventures Inc, Inc. d/b/a Borderless (“Borderless,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who use our website, https://www.hireborderless.com/, and related services (collectively, our “Services”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share information from users of our Services (“Users,” “you,” or “your”). 

If you are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or the United Kingdom (“UK”), “information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes. Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.

A. Information You Provide to Us.

Account Services and Onboarding. When you sign up for an account, register to use our Services, sign up for notifications or updates, or complete our forms, we may ask you for your name, email address, phone number, bank account information, tax identification number, or government-issued identification document, and similar information for verification purposes. Depending on the type of account you create, you may also be asked to provide us information about your business, such as business registration number, legal entity name, and ultimate beneficial ownership information. You may be required to upload certain files or documents to the Services. When you do so, we collect the contents and metadata associated with any files or documents uploaded to the Service.

Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you. For example, when you contact our customer support team, we will receive your name, email address, phone number, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide. When we send you emails, we may track whether you open them to learn how to deliver a better customer experience and improve our Services.

Payment Information. If you make a payment through our Services, your payment-related information or other financial information, is collected by our third-party payment processor on our behalf.

Careers. If you decide that you wish to apply for a job with us, you may submit your contact information and your resume online. We will collect the information you choose to provide on your resume, such as your education and employment experience.

Location Information. We infer your general location information, for example by using your internet protocol (IP) address.

Device Information. We receive information about the device and software you use to access our Services, including IP address, web browser type, operating system version, phone carrier and manufacturer, application installations, device identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, and push notification tokens.

Usage Information. To help us understand how you use our Services and to help us improve them, we automatically receive information about your interactions with our Services, like the content you view, the searches you conduct, any content you post or share, and the dates and times of your visits.

Your Choices

Delete Your Account.  If you create an account with us through our mobile application available on the App Store, you may delete your account in the account settings of the mobile application.  We may retain information about as long as your account is active and a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to re-activate the Services.  We also retain some of your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Marketing Communications. You can unsubscribe from our promotional emails via the link provided in the emails. Even if you opt out of receiving promotional messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us.

Do Not Track. There is no accepted standard on how to respond to Do Not Track signals, and we do not respond to such signals.

If you choose not to provide us with information we collect, some features of our Services may not work as intended.

Your European Privacy Rights. If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have additional rights described below.

Security

We make reasonable efforts to protect your information by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain. However, as no electronic transmission or storage of information can be entirely secure, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information.

Third Parties

The Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these third-party services or any information you disclose to these third parties. Retention

We take measures to delete your information or keep it in a form that does not permit identifying you when this information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it unless we are required by law to keep this information for a longer period. When we process information for our own purposes, we determine the retention period taking into account various criteria, such as the type of services provided to you, the nature and length of our relationship with you, possible re-enrollment with our Services, the impact on our Services we provide to you if we delete some information from or about you, and mandatory retention periods provided by law and the statute of limitations.

International Visitors

Our Services are hosted in the United States (“U.S.”) and intended for visitors located within the U.S. If you choose to use our Services from the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your information outside of those regions to the U.S. for storage and processing.
